Canon 1D Mark IV White Papers

by Thierry on November 17, 2009 · 2 comments

The new canon high fps flagship is at dealers’ doors and should be in the hands of some lucky first owners very soon.
Don’t forget about CPS free sensor clean @ Ted’s in Canberra this Thursday and also the hands on on this fantastic camera.
At the mean time, Canon has also published the white papers on the latest HD-SLRs.

Thierry,
Do you know why canon didn’t have white papers for Canon 7D? The 7D came out before the 1D Mark IV right?

Hi Bao,

The Canon 7D is kinda a “hybrid” camera between Canon’s two different levels, consumer and pro.
Although it only has one digit number, it is not considered as a pro level camera by CPS (Canon Professional Services) …
I think it might be a wait and see model to catch more of the market share for the next release. But it’s only me.
