Digital SLRs are in an endless race for mega pixel and yesterday’s “standard” 6 Mega Pixel cameras are now loaded with 20 + Mega pixels and all these photosites still share the same “small” size of the sensors limited by the format, maximum of 24 x 36 mm (not to mention other crop sensors).
