Video Errant with Canon 7D

by Thierry on October 11, 2009 · 1 comment

A short footage from Floriade today with the Canon 7D.

Don’t forget to click the full screen button adn pump up the volume.

Video captured with the built microphone in full HD … scaled down to 720p with iMovie.

Canon 7D @ Floriade from Thierry on Vimeo.

Full HD video shot with the Canon 7D and the Canon 24-105 f4 IS L USM in manual mode adn with the built in microphone.

It was the last day of Floriade in Canberra and the weather forecast was for a max of 15 degrees and risks of shower.

I felt more confident to walk around with my Canon 7D than my Canon 5D Mark II as the 7D has “better” weather sealing.
Lucky enough I didn’t have to test the sealing as we left Floriade before the the first drops.

This video, shot in full HD, has been edited with iMovie and … has been scaled down to 720p. It’s a shame. I did invest into Apple’s Final Cut and still learning how to use it.
Any tips welcome guys (and girls)
